Umm, could it really be possible that I am only a couple of weeks away from the third trimester?! Depending on what day of the week (or minute of the day) it is, this knowledge either makes me really freakin' excited or just really freaks me out.
I am so ready to meet this little boy growing in my belly. I want to see the tiny feet that use my bladder as an ottoman. I want to kiss the little fists that have spent the past several weeks using the walls of my uterus as a makeshift punching bag. Quite simply, I want to meet my son.
However. Yikes! It's almost the third trimester! There's still so much left to do. The nursery is not even close to being ready. There's still so much left to buy, to clean, to rearrange, to babyproof. Oh, and there's also the fact that I am going to be completely responsible for a little, tiny perfect life in a few short months.
It's just a lot to take in. But overall? I couldn't be more thrilled that this little boy and I are entering the last leg of the race. Bring.it.on.

Well if it makes you feel any better we have not even STARTED on the nursery. I'm trying not to go into panic mode just yet. We don't have to money to buy all the furniture and bedding yet and I need the bedding to start on the wall color so yeah... totally behind. Our goal is to start working on it in September and have it done by early November in case she comes early. And I wouldn't worry too much about childproofing the house before he comes since you'll have a good several months before he starts crawling, but I suppose if you have the time on your hands it might not be a bad idea to just get it all done right now! Good luck and here's to a quick (but long enough :)) Third trimester! Yay!
Gosh I can't believe your 3rd trimester is almost here. It's so amazing. Congrats!
Can I confess that I've been reading ahead in my PG books and reading where my IF PG friends are at? Yesterday I realized that you were almost in the 3rd Tri, and I thought holy moly too! It seems like just yesterday you were first seeing your little one. I'm glad that despite your scary eventful beginning, most of it has been a pretty typical PG. I hope that continues for you in your last couple of months!
Woo Hoo for the home stretch! My best friend who just had her second said as long as there is a place for the baby to sleep, the nursery doesn't need to be 100%. Her 4 month old is still sleeping in the basinette beside her bed. They just did a remodel, and the new baby's room has only been painted... No furniture yet. Just the changing table from her first son. So don't freak out too much. Plus you'll have an entire month off to get everything else done. And don't worry about all the things you need to buy - THAT'S WHAT SHOWERS ARE FOR!!!
Look at me throwing out advice like I've done it a million times... Anyway. Yay for TRI 3!!!
How exciting! I have an award waiting for you.
