While watching Camden practice this new skill, I've had that Bangles song "Walk like an Egyptian" stuck on a loop in my head. But the truth is, Camden walks nothing like an Egyptian. Actually, he walks a lot more like Tick Tock from Return to Oz. Does anyone else remember that movie besides my sister & me? If you do remember that "sequel" to The Wizard of Oz, perhaps you recall this loveable character:

And if you remember him, then maybe you recall his unsteady but determined walk. And Camden's version of the Tick Tock walk? Is so unbearably adorable.
I CAN NOT BELIEVE MY BABY IS WALKING.

oh Congrats Kerri! That's great! I don't remember Tick Tock, however, I am super excited for you and Camden and now realize I never wrote you an email back. Gage won't be walking for a while now, but maybe it's true what they say...some are walkers and some are talkers..! email you soon, gearing up for the big weekends! CAn you believe it??
haha isnt it the strangest thing to see your little baby suddenly stand up and walk across the room??
HA!!! Love the comparison between your little sweets and Tick Tock, because I completely remember. This made me smile :) YAY! for walking!
I think you & I are definitely in the minority of people who watched (and remember) "Return to Oz". Maybe b/c of the intense connection you felt with Jack. ;-)
I LOVE the pictures of Camden walking! And what I love even more is watching him do it in person. It's so cute the way they toddle around in the beginning. Tick Tock is a perfect comparison. Just as a warning to Mommy, this is when the bumps & bruises REALLY begin.
I know he's gotten even better since I last saw him take a few steps and I can't wait to see him again. Go Camden!
I love watching him walk. I agree about Tick Tock. Won't be long and he will be running.
Congratulations Kerri!! That is so awesome and I loved the comparison. That is too funny. What a cutie pie!!
Way to go Camden! Geez- it's been nuts watching him grow up this year via my computer screen. What are your 1 yr old birthday plans?
Awsome about your walking little boy! Love the pictures, too! I can't believe how grown up he is getting.
I also saw the "sequel" for the Wizard of Oz when I was a kid and thought I might have been the only one. It seemed like a good idea, but the movie was strange. I remember thinking, does this movie even have a plot or is is just supposed to be wierd?
