Just because it makes me laugh

You know what happens when you're without the internet for two days straight? Well, besides feeling like you're cut off from humanity, that is. Your time on the computer is spent playing Solitaire or Hearts, and sifting through some old pictures. Hence, the discovery of the picture below, which I forgot even existed.

This picture makes me laugh for a few reasons. First, I remember how strict I was back then about my caffeine being limited to one soda a day. As a former caffeine junkie, this was a tough adjustment for me and I savored that once-daily soda (funny that I've since given up caffeine entirely). Secondly, the website on my computer screen might be familiar to some of you ladies.  I mean, can I get any more predictable: sitting on the couch with my gigantic belly while reading Babycenter? And, of course, my soda shelf makes me laugh. That thing came in handy more than once.

Sometimes, I sure do miss that shelf.

haha...pretty funny. I need to look back through some of my preggo pictures, I was HUGE, way HUGER than you. You don't drink caffeine at all now?!? I actually didn't drink it but once the whole time I was pregnant, but I do love my Dr. Peppers.

I started out being super strict during my pregnancy and drinking no caffeine at all. Then when my OB told me that one soda a day was fine, I was all over that! And no- I don't drink caffeine anymore. It just wires me now. It's so strange.

I'm impressed that with a toddler you have given up caffeine! While pregnant, I drank zero, but now, some days are a 3 cup of coffee kind of day for me!

What a great pic to have to remember those shelf days!

I LOVE IT!!! The funny thing is when I first looked at the photo I was like "She drank caffeine while she was pregnant?" Hahaha. The only reason I even gave it a second thought is because of the messed up paranoia we acquired from our dear nemesis "infertility".

Want to know something funny? Well, I never drank caffeine before pregnancy because it made me feel funny. Now I can't get through my day without it! I guess we kind of traded places! And I miss that shelf too.
