Last time I posted an interview with Camden, he was two-and-a-half years old and my only child. I thought it would be fun to conduct another interview with him to see how his perspective and answers have changed with age and the birth of a sibling. And since Matt and I finally took the plunge and upgraded to iPhones (I know, I know-- welcome to 2004), I decided to document this interview on video. I think I'll make my video interviews with Camden (and eventually Macey) a once-every-few-months deal. It'll be fun to look back on them years down the road and they'll probably eventually enjoy watching them too. My mom interviewed my sister and me when I was three years old and my sister was seven years old (on cassette tape!) and I loved listening to our voices and our answers to questions as an adult.
So, here it is: my (brief) interview with Camden at 3 years and 3 months old:
Disclaimer: Excuse the PJs and messy hair-- this interview took place first thing in the morning.

So Cute! I've been dying to do this with Gage, but every time I think about it he's in bed, or something and then when we're just playing I never remember. ha...and I just realized I never knew what you sounded like. Do you ever just feel like you can 'hear' someone through your blog? I thought you had a Southern accent for some reason...ha
How cute! My favorite is that he wants to dig in a dozer when he grows up...I just loved that he acted out pulling levers & digging. Adorable.
I wonder if Mom still has that tape of us? I used to love listening to that. Me, with my loud, twangy Southern accent, and you quiet & grumpy, with the occasional exclamation of, "Goo goo gah gah!"
Haha! I live in NC, but remember I'm from NOVA! No Southern accent here. At least, I don't think so. :)
Hmm... I haven't seen that tape in years. I'd love to find it, though, because it also has Bigmama's voice on it.
Awe! So cute! I agree that the acting out operating the digger was so adorable. :) It was funny to hear your voice and for some reason it seemed to be what I imagined without having thought about it before.
Haha, Jamie. Is it weird that I totally feel like I know what your voice sounds like too?! :)
