Hallway when you first walk up the stairs. If the railings look funny, it's because we have a baby proofing cover over them. Macey threw one too many things through those slots and also tried to squeeze herself in between them on more than one occasion. Way too scary for me. I've loved the security these simple coverings give.
Our bedroom. Remember, this is not the true master bedroom of the house (that's downstairs). This is the bedroom we converted into our master so we could be on the same floor as the kids. It's a decent size and has a bathroom in it, so it works.
Aforementioned upholstered headboard. I love it.
Bathroom in our bedroom.
This room is Matt's creation- it's our theater room. There's a row of couches in the front and then a platform with another couch behind it. (Note Macey with the remote. She was saying "Bubbles", requesting Bubble Guppies to be put on the big screen.)
Here's the big screen (and if you have really good eye sight, you'll see that Macey's request was fulfilled and Bubble Guppies is playing.) Normally, this room is darkened with blackout curtains but I opened them for the sake of lighting.
View of both couches. Ignore the blackout curtains awkwardly pushed aside.
Not much to explain here- hall bathroom between Camden and Macey's rooms.
Camden's room. He currently sleeps in his train bed, but we have another single bed in the room (pictured below) for him to grow into. I have visions for this room...I'm thinking we'll paint the walls blue and do a Star Wars theme as he gets a little older. If we stay in this house, of course.
And to wrap up the tour: Macey Jean's room.
I love this little reading nook.
