And this was our week. A little late.

So, I got a text from my mom this morning that said, "Aren't you overdue for a blog post?"

Uhh...yes, just a tad. Sorry 'bout that, folks. But I warned you that this blog might be a lonely place during the month of June. Thankfully, I am just about done with my summer class (hallelujah! Also? I'm never taking a summer class again). We have lots of fun stuff coming up to document: the kids' first trip to South Carolina to visit their grandparents, swimming lessons, the Fourth of July celebration at the lake house, pool trips, our family beach trip, and so much more. Things will get busy around here again, I promise.

For now, I'll leave you with our week in pictures:

Fresh strawberries from our back yard garden. Camden has a full-fledged strawberry addiction. I'm concerned about the withdrawals he'll be going through soon once our plant stops producing.

Because fresh fruit calls for these types of lunches. Camden took one look at his plate and said, "But he's cute! I don't want to eat him!"

Miss Macey got a pedicure courtesy of Mommy. It's a moment worth documenting: it's the first time she's allowed me to paint more than one nail without kicking and demanding to get down.

Because sibling love never gets old.

Camden's first experience with s'mores.

The many faces of Macey Jean...

Trampoline jumping...

 ...and wagon riding.
